Applying for jobs is the worst fucking job in the world. It's that horrible combination of pointless, boring, and hard. Well, it's not ALL pointless, but each opening takes considerable time to find and apply for (especially now that each level of government has its own online system for which I have to fill-out 10 million questions and which will probably fuck up because it's shitty software or because it doesn't like my Mac).
