Happy
No real comments today. It was warm and sunny. That makes me happy. I'm dating somebody cool. That makes me happy.
The health care might pass this week. That would make me happy, even as watered down and anemic as it is.
I need to take a panel data class, but the one I could take this summer would cost me $2500 bucks. That doesn't make me happy.
But I'm going bowling tonight. That makes me happy.

You really think this is going to pass? I think it’s already passed the point of no return.
Moderate Democrats are only voting on the Senate bill based on the pretence of a subsequent reconciliation bill that is to their liking ($950 billion or less). That, as of yet, no such bill has been made public suggests the house leadership isn’t getting a CBO score they like on the current reconciliation bill and are still in the process of trying to get 2 pounds of sausage in a 1 pound casing. The belief that they can manage to satisfy the blue dogs without aggravating the mighty coalition of grievances might be wishful thinking.
Well, we'll find out soon enough. Supposedly the vote is gonna happen this week.
