Jittery Spells and their Causes
Sometimes, I just get jittery. I grind my teeth and get this antsy feeling in my muscles where they feel tense and desirous of being exhausted. My heart feels a little palpitation-y, and I just feel a generalized need to eat, move, fuck, and fight.
When I get this way, I usually notice it when I wake up gnashing and grinding my teeth after only sleeping for 5 hours or so. And when it comes on me, there's very little I can do to stop it. Exercise sometimes helps a little, but not always.
Does anybody know what the hell I"m talking about?
I haven't had one of these "spells" for quite a while. I was getting them pretty frequently last spring, and I finally got some tranquilizers from the doctor. Back then, I tried to pinpoint the cause by trying to find corrolary behavior, but I've had little success. I've indicted a variety of culprits...alcohol withdrawal, nicotine withdrawal, exercise withdrawal (if there is such a thing), dehydration, excessive caffeine intake, stress...but none of these, save a generalized stress, was consistently correlated with these antsy spells, and I'm always experiencing generalized stress.
Now I have a new culprit to indict...unrequited infatuation. There was a lot of that going on in my life last year. The last few months, not so much of it....perhaps more of it now again, and here I find myself in the grips of the "antsy-ness" this morning. Could this be my body's response to frustrated desire?
Of course, I did drink a butt-load of intense coffee yesterday...maybe that has something to do with it.

Whatcha infatuated with, my friend?
ALSO, as purely a matter of convenience, I might as well ask you now what type of presents you're wanting us to get you for your upcoming TWENTY SEVENTH birthday???
I'm infatuated with the though of your rotting corpse, which coincidentally is also what I want for my birthday.
